High School Confirmation 
(9th-12th Grade)

A Two Year Preparation process to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation for High School Teens.

       Please see "Year 1" and "Year 2" Program descriptions below:

"Year 1" HIGH SCHOOL CONFIRMATION PREPARATION
(9th to 12th Grade)

      The first year of preparation to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation for High School Teens. All new candidates will join the “Year 1” Confirmation Program. Graduating High School Seniors (12 Graders) who are new to the program may inquire about a 1 year intensive preparation option.

       All "Year 1" Candidates are required to attend one instructional session per month typically held on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 4:00PM-6:00PM IN ADDITION TO the 6:00PM Mass (Bilingual) generally on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month together with all Year 1 and Year 2 Candidates and their families. (Candidates and their families are free to attend any Mass time on the other Sundays of the month.) There will be scheduled Group Service Projects throughout the year as well as a mandatory Confirmation Year 1 One-Day Retreat tentatively scheduled at St. Lawrence date TBD.

• Parents and Candidates MUST attend a Mandatory Confirmation "Year 1" Orientation on Sunday, September  15th at 4:00PM-7:00PM (including 6PM Bilingual Sunday Mass). Location will be emailed. 
• Program Cost:  Year 1-$175 (Total Cost for both years is $350 = $175 (Year 1) + $175 (Year 2)) 
• If payments in increments are preferred, a minimum deposit of $40 toward the Confirmation program fees must be submitted on or before the day of "Year 1"Orientation in order to secure the candidate's registration.
• A copy of your teen's Baptism and First Communion Certificate must be submitted by email  to [email protected] or at the St. Lawrence Parish Office.

• Year 2 Parents Candidates and sponsors are required to attend the first session of the second year on Sunday, August 18th, 2024 from 4:30PM-7:00PM (including 6PM Bilingual Sunday Mass). Meeting location will be emailed. There will be a Year 2 Parent Orientation TBD.
• Program Cost:  Year 2- $175 (in addition to any unpaid balances from the previous 2023-2024 year)
• If you have not already done so, a copy of your teen's Baptism and First Communion Certificates must be submitted by email to [email protected] or at the St. Lawrence Parish Office.
• Sponsor forms are due as soon possible.

Adult First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation (Adults 18 years old and beyond)

For baptized adults who wish to prepare for the Sacrament of First Communion AND/OR Confirmation.

       Must have interview with an Adult Confirmation Coordinator or Catechetical Director.
