Public Masses UPDATE

November 29, 2020Dear St. Lawrence Parishioners and Friends,
Effective Tuesday, November 17, 2020, Santa Clara County has moved to the most restrictive Purple Tier. Adaptations must be made in order to continue the celebration of Mass at our parish during the fall and winter months.
I would like to remind you that Bishop Cantú has dispensed all from the obligation to participate physically at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation. During this time, you may participate at Mass on any day without concern for one’s obligation.Following the guidance of Bishop Cantú and the County Public Health Department, all Masses will be celebrated outdoors (see Bishop’s Letter: Return to Purple Tier; Indoor Masses Suspended as of Tuesday, November 17):Beginning on Monday, November 23, 2020, all outdoor Masses at
St. Lawrence will be celebrated in the Pavilion/Pool Courtyard AreaNEW OUTDOOR Mass Schedule
- Monday – Saturday at 8:30 AM
- Wednesday at 8:30 AM Live Stream School Mass
- Saturday Vigil at 4:00 PM
- Sunday at 9:30 AM
- Sunday at 11:00 AM Live Stream (English)
- Sunday at 12:30 PM Live Stream (Spanish)
Per County restrictions, reservations are required to attend outdoor Mass. You may make a reservation by clicking on the button below. For those who do not have access to the internet, you may call the parish office at (408) 296-3000 to make a reservation.
- 100 person maximum capacity for outdoor Masses.
- During the celebration of Mass, the use of a face mask is mandatory.
- We will continue to practice social distancing at all times.
- The manner in which you will receive Holy Communion will be explained at each Mass.
- Please bring the following items In order to minimize sanitization and disinfecting that needs to be done after each Mass:
- Chair
- Sanitizing Gel

In addition, the time for both Confessions and Eucharistic Adoration have been adapted due to the colder weather.
Drive-In Confessions every Wednesday (beginning November 25):- 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- 4:00 - 5:00 PM
Eucharistic Adoration every Thursday (beginning December 3 - no Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Christmas Day):
- OUTDOOR Holy Hour from 9:15 - 10:15 AM (after the 8:30 AM Mass)
- LIVE STREAM Holy Hour from 5:00 - 6:00 PM (broadcast ONLY on Facebook Live; no attendees)
